This Sunday from 6pm-8pm Jed will be special Guest Artist at the Second Sunday Show and Tell,a free event at Second State Press where any artist can bring their artwork to discuss/critique in a convivial group setting.This is a FREE event where all artwork is welcome- finished or in progress, anything goes! Second State Press is a communal printmaking workshop whose mission is to foster the development of ideas and innovation in printmaking by providing artists with professional, affordable, and supportive workspace. It is located at  1400 N American St Bsmt 103, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania 19122

“Intersection” opening Thursday July 6

Jed has artwork featured in the group exhibit “Intersection”, presented by International House Philadelphia & Da Vinci Art Alliance, a renowned Philadelphia art collective, of which Jed is a member. . ” Intersection” illustrates abstractly or literally the point at which two things meet. Featuring DVAA and International House Philadelphia Artists.

The exhibition will be on view from June 30 – September 10, 2017 in the East Alcove Gallery, located in the public lobby of the International House building at 3701 Chestnut Street. Open daily 8am – 10pm

Opening reception will be held on Thursday, July 6 from 6-8pm

The Healing Arts Collective is located at 519 S. 9th Street (on 9th St. between Lombard St. and South St.), Philadelphia PA

This is a very special exhibition of local artists who vary in levels of career and artistic styles. The show features abstract and representative imagery of drawings, paintings, photographs and prints. This selection of artists can speak to their own personal healing in mind, body and soul. Their works of art are an essential part of their healing process in one form or another.

Saturday May 13, Jed has artwork featured in the Art Gala, a celebration of fashion, style and art with many different artists and performers! This event is a charity showcase, which raises Anti-Bullying Awareness and to raise money for The Center for Children and Youth with Special Health Care Needs at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children.

This event will be held Saturday May 13 from 7pm-midnight at the Arts Ballroom, 1324 Locust St. in Philadelphia, PA 19107 (USA).

JED IS CURRENTLY WORKING ON A  SERIES OF MIXED MEDIUM ABSTRACT PAINTINGS ON VARIOUS SUPPORTS SUCH AS CANVAS, PAPER AND WOOD.   IN THESE NEW WORKS JED EXPLORES  THE  VISUAL SYNERGIES, CONFLICTS AND ULTIMATE DYNAMISM CREATED BY BLENDING  FORMAL ABSTRACT ELEMENTS AND THE EXPRESSION OF SPIRITUAL AND EMOTIONAL YEARNING.   JED CONTINUES HIS EXPLORATION OF THE DUALITY  OF JOY AND ANGUISH IN A COLOR/DESIGN CELEBRATION.

HE IS ALSO CURRENTLY FEATURED ON FRESH PAINT MAGAZINE, AN INTERNATIONAL INDEPENDENT ART MAGAZINE.
