The Da Vinci Art Alliance is a member-run, well-know art collective/group as well as gallery, it is located in Philadelphia, PA. USA.

 Jed also is in a two person show at Jed Williams Gallery (along with local artist Robin Halpren-Ruder)-he is showing recent large-scale works such as “Carnaval of Resistance” ( oil/acrylic on canvas, 40 X 60 inches) -work pictured below.  The exhibit runs through January 20.  There will be a closing reception on Thursday January 19 from 5-7pm   www.jedwilliamsgallery.com/

Jed is one of the featured artists in this silent art auction whose proceeds will benefit the Oceti Sakowin Camp at Standing Rock, ND whose are currently struggling to stop the Dakota Access oil pipeline.

This benefit event is taking place Thursday June 5, 2014 from 5:30-9pm at the Crystal Tea Room (100 E. Penn Square, Philadelphia).  A  Perfect Fit is Career Wardrobe’s premier fundraising event, and will feature a fashion show, art, an auction and more.

MARCH 2014

Jed is participating in the 2014 Art Auction at Annunciation BVM Church on Friday, March 28 from 7-10pm.

On Friday, March 28 2014, from 7 to 10 PM the Passyunk Square Civic Association will host the third annual Passyunk Square Community Art Show and Auction.  Also participating will be  many of South Philly’s resident art superstars, Zoe Strauss, Adam Wallacavage, Jim Houser, Hawk Krall, Joe Boruchow, David Guinn, James Mundie, Kate Kern Mundie.

The auction, which will be held at Annunciation BVM Church hall (10th and Dickinson), will include both an art auction and a raffle. The auction will feature sculpture, prints, jewelry, photography and paintings. Food and drink from local establishments will also be available to add to the festivities.

THIS IS A TICKET-ONLY EVENT.

FEBRUARY 2014

Jed is showing several paintings and two sculptures through the month of February as part of the February  “Amore” exhibition at The Express.   The Express is located within the Transfer Station at 4120 Main St. , Philadelphia PA 19120. (in the Manayunk section of Philadelphia) .   This is a great opportunity to see Jed’s work and especially to see his sculptures which he rarely exhibits, including “Playground of Love” (created in collaboration with the noted photographer Floyd Kelley).      For more information on The Express you can visit: http://www.theexpressmanayunk.com

On Saturday February 8, Jed is also showing work in the Inliquid Benefit v. 14, (in memory of Abigail Rebecca Cohen) –a benefit celebrating 15 years of Inliquid, one of Philadelphia’s most prestigious and well-known artist organizations.  InLiquid’s Annual Benefit is both a fabulous social happening and a showcase for the works of the region’s premier visual artists.  At this event there will be a wide array of art, gift certificates, jewelry, and design items available in a silent auction.    This event is ticket-only.  You can purchase Tickets & RSVP at the door or click here for more information on advance ticket purchases.  Also you can visit: http://inliquid.org/happenings/inliquid-projects/benefit/benefit-v-14/

And on Thursday February 20th, from 5-7pm, Jed’s will have a pop-up art show  at   The Wardrobe Boutique, located at 1822 Spring Garden St., Philadelphia PA 19130. The Wardrobe Boutique is an upscale resale store operated by the Career Wardrobe and offering quality new and gently used women’s clothing and accessories.    Part of the store’s mission is to empower women to successfully transition into the  workforce.      http://www.wardrobeboutique.org/home.php
